PROGRAM OVERVIEW

What is the Diversity, Equity, Belonging & Inclusion (DEBI) Action Learning Cohort?

As a response to the current climate and layers of challenges for today’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) professionals, Path Forward Consulting (PFC) is launching a 12-week action learning cohort to accelerate the skills and provide the tools required to meet the expanded expectations of individuals tasked with moving the needle on DEI initiatives.

This is a consulting cohort program designed to support individuals in these roles and their organization. Many companies have invested in Chief Diversity Officer role but not necessarily a comprehensive strategic plan to achieve the stated goals.

Participants from multiple business segments will have the opportunity to obtain expert-facilitated learning experiences that leverage each other’s problem-solving process through similar challenges. Each participant enters the program with an assessment of their organization’s priority needs.  By the end of the three-month experience, each participant leaves with a customized plan and strategies that address their specific situation. The program runs from September 13 to December 6, 2021.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES:

By the end of this program, participants will: 

Sharpen professional  skills as a DEI leader in their organization
Receive essential  perspectives from HR, talent management and DEI experts
Create or enhance their strategic plan with input from PFC and confirm implementation tactics informed by other members of the cohort 
Gain strategies to deal  with traditional barriers to DEI
Be able to apply  their learnings immediately
 

Who facilitates the program?

INSTRUCTOR - ALLISON MANSWELL
Allison V. Manswell is a seasoned HR executive, author and recognized subject matter expert with over 25 years of experience in talent management strategic interventions employee and leadership development, organizational effectiveness, diversity and inclusion. In addition to an MBA in Leadership, she also holds the industry credential of Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) from the Association of Talent Development. Allison is also a faculty member of the Forum on Workplace Inclusion Coaching Center.
